BiosPUAH Institute FounderRabbi Menachem BursteinPUAH Institute Founder Rabbinical CounselorsPUAH Institute has a staff of 10 rabbis available to counsel couples experiencing gynecological and/or fertility issues. Counseling sessions are available in Hebrew, English, French and Spanish and are custom tailored to fit each set of parents' particular needs. Listed below are the available rabbis along with a short biography. The information sent to a specific rabbi will be read only by that rabbi. Visitors are encouraged to choose the rabbi that they will be most comfortable dealing with. Rabbi Gideon WeitzmanPUAH Institute Director Rabbi Gideon Weizman was born in Britain and received his rabbinical ordination from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel. Teaching in a variety of educational institutions has brought Rabbi Weitzman into contact with many different kinds of people from all walks of life and helps him in his capacity as director of PUAH Institute. Born and bred in Yerushalaim, Rabbi Lewis studied at the Bet El Yeshivah and got his rabbinic ordination from the chief rabbinate. He has served as a rabbinic director of the OU Torah center in Kharkov Ukraine, and as a community rabbi and Rosh Kollel in Perth Australia. He has also taught at Yeshivat Benei Zvi and Ohr Torah Stone and currently teaches at Midreshet Yeud for girls. Rabbi Lewis serves as part of the of the www.yeshiva.org.il ask-the-rabbi rabbinic responsa team and is a full time rabbinic counselor at the Puah Institute as the associate director of the English department with responsibility for the USA region.Contact Rabbi Elchanan Lewis Rabbi Gavriel GoldmanSpanish Department HeadRabbi Gavriel Goldman is a graduate of both Eretz Chemda Yeshiva and Hesder Yeshiva (in Ma'aleh Adumim). In addition to serving as a rabbinical counselor at PUAH Institute, Rabbi Goldman is also the acting rabbi of Kfar Adumim in Israel. He is also a graduate of Beth Morasha as well as Kollel Bnei Elisha. In addition to his work as a counselor at PUAH Institute, Rabbi David is also the rabbi of Shadmot Mechola in Israel. In addition to his work as a counselor with PUAH Institute, Rabbi Nisim is also the Rosh Hayeshiva of Elisheva. Contact Rabbi Nisim Rabbi Yosef EitanRabbinical CounselorRabbi Yosef Eitan is a graduate of Yeshivat Hakotel, Merkaz Harav and Kollel Eretz Hemda. Rabbi Eitan received his Rabbinical Ordination in 1990 and subsequently served as rabbi and Moreh Hora'ah of the Pizgat Zev neighborhood in Jerusalem. He currently resides in Beth-El and is a Rabbinical Counselor at PUAH Institute. Contact Rabbi Eitan Rabbi Eliezer AltschullerRabbinical CounselorRabbi Eliezer Altschuller holds graduate degrees from both The Herzog Institute for Judaic Studies and Touro College. He is also a graduate of Netiv Meir and Ohr Etzion Yeshiva. Rabbi Altschuller resides with his family in the Har Hebron area where he is also the community Rabbi. In addition to serving as a counselor at PUAH Institute, Rabbi Altschuller is also a member of The Beis Din for Conversions (at the Shapiro Center) and a teacher at The Medrasha School for Girls (in the Maon Settlement). In 2001 he received Smicha from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel "Yoreh Yoreh". In 1993 he joined the Yeshivat Hesder in Yerucham where he is studying until today. For the past few years Rabbi Rath has been serving as Rav Meishiv (counseling Rabbi) at Puah Institute. As well, within the context of the kiruv organization Tzohar, Rabbi Udi Rath performs the marriage ceremony for couples returning to their roots. Rabbi Rath is also a member of Bikdusha - a group of Rabbis and professional counselors who offer guidance to the religious community on issues related to married life.
