Sukkot Recipes
Unlike other holidays, Sukkot has no traditional dishes. Depending on climate, menus can range from steaming hearty soups & heavy entrées to warm the sukkah inhabitants to refreshing chilled vegetable or fruit soups with fish, salads and barbeque. In Israel the preference is cooler, simple meals - and since we have all been praying to be in Jerusalem next year, here's a favorite menu:
Challah & Wine
Tuna Nicoise Salad with Dijon Vinaigrette
Creamy Avocado Soup
Grilled steaks or kebabs
Grilled Vegetable Medley
New Potatoes or Rice
Moscato Granita for Dessert
